I’m sitting in a meeting of Bible translation leaders from across Central Africa. The meeting is interesting – fascinating even, but it is very hard to concentrate. Outside there is a huge storm blowing and the sound of the rain on the tin roof and the wind blowing stuff around is more or less impossible to ignore.
It’s rained every day since I got here, but this is the first really big storm and it’s very exciting. One of the things I miss about Africa when I’m in the UK is the extremes of weather. Big violent storms are wonderful to watch, but I’m glad I’m not outside!
