Thinking Blogs

Peter Kirk has just mentioned the Kouya Chronicle as one of the blogs that make him think. Coming from Peter, a colleague for whom I have the highest regard and an excellent blogger, this compliment is most welcome. It’s now my turn to nominate five blogs which make me think. This is complicated, because two […]

Lingamish: Pudding and Chocolate Cake

Lingamish has just posted two interesting posts which are worth a read (not just because he calls Kouya Chronicle an excellent blog in one of them). These two posts get my award for the best titles of the week! Pudding Worship Sky Like Chocolate Cake

Rob Baker is Wrong

My friend Rob Baker, who lives in Cotonou, reckons that BluTak wasn’t made for West Africa. Well, I’m just along the coast from him at the moment, and we are getting great use out of the stuff as the picture shows! Coloured card is a great way of making plans visual and easy to see.

However, Hamo has decided that it is time to take a break from blogging, which is […]

Changed Look

I’ve been playing around with how this site looks. I think that it is now a bit cleaner and less fussy, but I’d be interested to know what others think. Do you prefer this, or the old look?

Maps and Stuff

I’ve just added the rather funky Geoloc visitor map to the sidebar. It’s rather nice and tells you were you are – presumably in case you are not sure. It will also tell you where other visitors to the the site are located. However, the traffic we get here is so small, that the chance […]

Spam, spam, spam, spam, spaaam!

Overnight, we were hit by about two hundred spam comments advertising gambling on US sports. At least that’s what they said they were doing, I didn’t follow any of the URL’s to check. I don’t care! We do have moderation software installed that doesn’t allow suspicious comments to be posted to the site without me […]

Theology and Pictures

Thanks to Dave Burke for the link to David Niblack’s web page. Here you can find some theology articles, lots of nice photographs and some free PowerPoint templates. It’s well worth a visit. The image below is an example of David’s pictures. Click on it to see more.
