Readings in Mission and World Christianity

From time to time, I’ve drawn up lists of the best books for those who are interested in reading about world mission (I’ll link to some of the posts at the foot of this one). I’ve tended to keep my lists fairly short and I’ve never tried to write an exhaustive list. However, Alistair Wilson is made of sterner stuff than I am and he has put together an excellent and very thorough reading list for anyone interested in mission studies and world Christianity.

At this point, I’m not worried if you don’t read the rest of my post; just go and visit Alistair’s blog and bookmark his list.

I think that Alistair’s list is excellent. I’ve read just about everything on it and I reckon that all of the books that are there deserve their place. However, if I might be so bold, I think that there are a few books and resources that he hasn’t included that he should have. Here are my additions to his list.
