Dear Friends,

I’m due to fly to Niamey in Niger for a one week workshop tomorrow.
Those of you in the UK will have heard that there is massive disruption
to flights to and from the country because of a terrorist threat. At the
moment, there are no flights in and out of Heathrow and it is not clear
how much longer this will last. Please pray for safety for everyone
travelling today and pray that I’ll be able to concentrate on getting
done what I have to do today without constantly fretting about whether
I’m going to fly tomorrow – sufficient unto the day is the trouble thereof!

I’ve got a number of talks/sermons/workshops/planning sessions that I
need to think about over the next couple of months and it’s hard to
concentrate on any one of them – my mind keeps flitting around. I’d be
grateful for some prayers for mental discipline.

If I do get to Niamey (and if my laptop gets there after being checked
into the hold) I’ll be blogging regularly, so there will be updates on
www.kouya.net every day or so, along with some photographs.

With best wishes,

Eddie
