Too Early for Wordsworth

Not only was the temperature a relatively balmy 13C yesterday (ok, that’s cold if you are in Africa – but this is England in January) but there were daffodils in flower. I’m sure that they only appear in March. If long term climate change isn’t happening, then something is! Methinks the daffodils have a better idea of what is going on than some newspaper journalists.

Wow! Mine are just starting to open up, but we in Essex are that bit further north than you. Last year I think my church made an appeal for daffodils for its Easter flower display and I had to tell them that my daffodils had flowered before Lent and were well and truly past it by Easter. This year the same again, it seems, even though Lent and Easter are very early.
