Crowd-Sourced Book Recommendations

Over the years, I’ve produced a number (here and here) of definitive lists of the best books on mission (stretching the meaning of the word definitive well beyond breaking point in the process). At some point in the near future, when I have a bit of time on my hands, I’d like to update the list. In the meantime, I thought that it would be interesting to ask you, dear readers, for your recommendations.

If there are one or two mission books that you would really like to recommend, please put the titles either in the comments section below or on Facebook If you’d like to add a brief explanation of why you think this particular book is worth reading, that would be even better. Please feel free to define mission as broadly or as narrowly as you wish. Suggestions of books written by authors outside of the West and in languages other than English are especially welcome.

In a week or so, I’ll compile all of the answers I get into one blog post (basically, I’m asking you to do my work for me).
