Ways to Encourage Us!

If you are anything like me, you probably never read the sidebars of blogs. However, despite the fact that I don’t often read sidebars, I have actually put some fairly important information on the side of our blog, that I’d like to highlight, if that’s ok with you.

The first thing to say is that if you enjoy Kouya Chronicle, you might like to sign up to receive our posts by email (this is especially useful if you are on a slow connection or if you have to pay for web browsing but not email). Signing up is as simple as filling in this form:

[subscribe2]

It is also possible to subscribe to a very irregular podcast of talks that I give at various venues around the country. There aren’t that many talks, but I hope you will find them interesting, encouraging and challenging.

Lastly, if you would like to know more about Sue and I, or if you would like to pray for us, you can also sign up to receive our family news – there is a form to the right of this post just for that.

If you are a Facebook user, you could always ‘Like’ our Facebook page. Most things that are published on this blog eventually find their way to Facebook, though the technology can be a little slow at times!

Another thing we’d like to highlight is this little paragraph:

We do not receive a salary for the work we do with Wycliffe and our income is dependent on the goodwill of friends and churches around the world. If you would like to support us either regularly or by making a one off gift, you can do so by clicking here.

We realise that in the current financial situation, it is difficult to commit to regular financial support, but there are other ways around this. If you click on any of the Amazon links on this site, or if you buy anything from our Amazon page then a percentage of what you spend will be given to us. You could even use the Amazon search bar on the right hand side of this blog when you do any Amazon shopping – it all helps.

If you would like to make a one off gift, you could always buy something from our Amazon Wishlist where we have a range of things that we would like; ranging from the expensive to the less so and from the serious to the trivial.

Whether or not you decide to follow through with any of these things, we are glad that you’ve taken a moment to look at Kouya.net. Thanks for stopping by
