Andrew Trimble: Following Jesus

A few days ago I said that my impossible dream was to play rugby for England – something I clearly will never do. Andrew Trimble, a student at Belfast Bible College, has done something almost as good as play for England – he plays rugby for Ireland.

This six minute video shows Andrew contrasting the relative importance of his faith and International Rugby. Much though I wish I’d played more rugby when my joints were up to it, I can’t argue with Andrew’s priorities. HT The Upper Room.

“I’m glad that God made me good at Rugby because I’m rubbish at everything else… it’s great to play rugby for God’s Glory. Talking about Jesus excites me more than rugby.”
