Bob Creson » Bible Translation and Explosive Faith Movements

My friend Bob Creson, president of Wycliffe US,  has just made an excellent post about the impact of Bible translation on communities around the world.

The Bible has a lot to say about God’s special love for the poor, the downtrodden, and the oppressed. I believe that he is pleased when these marginalized people are offered the Scriptures in their language. I believe we honor Him when we choose to say with John Wycliffe. “Everyone has a right, even peasants, to hear and understand the Word of God.”
