Books I Have Read: Advancing Models of Mission

Paul doesn’t seem concerned with establishing the church in each ethnolinguistic people group, even though he and his team were intent on crossing cultural barriers. Rather, Paul was concerned with planting churches in cities that were composed of all people in the city.

Britain’s Unreached People Group

Although the British working class may not fit the classic definitions of unreached people groups, they are unreached and there are cultural, if not linguistic, barriers that the mainly middle class church will have to overcome if this slice of the population is to be reached with the gospel. Carrying on doing what we are currently doing will not work.

Ignoring the Unreached

I follow a lot of people involved in world mission, many of whom regularly talk about the needs of the unreached around the world and I follow a lot of other Christians – mainly British church leaders – who hardly ever (if ever) mention the needs of global unreached people groups.
